Yangtze gorge

has anyone been on the 3 day river trip on the Yangtze river gorge? I have been told that it passes through quite a lot of industrial areas. Is it worth the extra money as a tag on trip?

It does pass through a few industrial areas, however, the actual gorges themselves are well worth a visit. Also the 3 gorges will soon be flooded as part of China�s plans to develop the west. I suggest that you visit the gorges while you have the chance!
