Hotels in Leeds
Hi, Iam shortly going to be visiting Leeds with my daughter as she hopes to go to Uni there, do any AB's know any hotels which are close by? Either within walking distance, or 5/10 mins away in a taxi.
Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks..

There are loads of hotels in the city centre though so you can take your pick. Off the top of my head, there's The Meridien Queens, Metropole, Novotel, Mariott, Golden Lion, Hilton, then just out of Leeds centre but prob as close by taxi, are the Ibis, Holiday Inn Express and another one that escapes me at the moments.
If you choose a city centre hotel and want to get a bus instead of a taxi (for exploration's sake/trying out the public transport), then you can get a number 1, 96, 55, 28 are a few I can think of but any that are heading towards Headingley go past the uni.
Let me know if you want any more advice.
