Id like to go on holiday to Grand Canaria with friends. Does anyone know of any good resorts/places to stay. Also is there a time difference?
Thanks

As far as time difference goes dont think there is one dont quote me though. hope this has helped x

Hi Pippin, my partner and I stayed in Mas palomas a couple of years ago, we really liked it. it's about a 10 minute walk from Playa del Ingles, which is the main lively resort, but if you don't do walking, a cab only costs a few euros each way.
Although we were only late 20's, sometimes it is nicer to stay in a quieter area, unless you are going for the club 18-30's atmosphere! It's a good area to stay, within walking distance of the Irish quarter, chopping centres, the Jumbo Centre and all the other attractions. In Maspalomas itself you have the sand dunes which are great, we paddled in the sea all the way round to Playa del Ingles one morning - not for the faint hearted tho, as you have to traverse the nudist area - wear sunglasses!!!!!
