Book Flights Early Or Later

Does one get a better price booking early or later?

It's swings and roundabouts and very much dependent on the destination, time of year, number of carriers etc.

We always book early. True that there are special offers later, but often firms like easyJet are selling tickets early at bargain prices, I had an email the other day for travel up to March 2015.

Besides, I couldn't stand the stress of booking late - I like to know my seat iis is booked as early as possible!

Yes,I always booked as soon as flights are released,I am talking about long haul schedule flights.This is so I can book,car, places to stay etc...like everything done,then can sit back and look forward to my trip.

Depends where you're going. The prices from England to Ireland go up.

I think they take advantage of the fact that's there's a lot of Irish in England and we have to go home at the last minute.

Early. Definitely. Especially since SAA stopped doing the Cape Town from Heathrow. You won`t get a cheap last minute deal.
