Waterfall Into The Sea
Was watching an 'Emergency 999' show a while ago and part of the opening credits showed - what looked like to me - a waterfall going straight into the sea!
The show featured the emergency services in Dumfries and the Air/Sea Rescue from HMS Gannett so the location MIGHT be south West Scotland.
The drop appeared to be about 100 feet.
Anyone know where this is - or might be

I've seen a waterfall of that type in Mauritius but it probably wasn't the one featured on the programme.....
From what Calibax and Baldric suggest, it makes sense as both areas share a recent geological past involving rapid uplift of rock strata, although the causes of this differ: post-ice age uplift in Scotland's case and volcanic activity in Mauritius.
