Ryanair Seat If Got Wheelchair??

our friend has just had his cast off after a broken leg..he is taking a wheelchair to get around barcelona next week..will he be given any extra legroom or do we have to priority book him?

You'd need to book wheelchair space if he needs to sit in it, or book extra legroom - but check that he can put the wheelchair in the hold without additional cost. It'll be in his booking T&C what he can take with him.

There is extra leg room where the overwing exits are but you have to be able bodied and more or less willing to assist in an evacuation. I sat in one once and was given card on how to jettison the door to study.

Agree, grasscarp - and on our last flight they moved a disabled couple out of those seats as they wouldn't have been nifty enough in case of an evacuation.

i have spoken to them and need to add wheelchair on free of charge and he can take crutches...do you get a seat number on ryanair when ypu print off boarding card?

From what I have heard of Ryanair it is a race to the plane first there grab the best seats.

We've had numbered seats the last few times with flown with them.

I flew with Ryanair for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Was very apprehensive but they turned out to be no different than easyjet, just not as much room to manoeuvre and a couple of the staff could have had a lesson in politeness, but not too bad an experience. Though as almost everyone had only hand luggage there wasn't enough room so arguments broke out as passengers refused to put their bags in the hold, even though they weren't going to be charged

everyone's told that there isn't enough room for all the hand luggage and only the first 90 or so on board are guaranteed locker room.
