Trams In Manchester

The Metrolink tram system in Manchester is continuing to expand with the latest additional line out to the airport one year ahead of schedule and expected to be operational before the end of the year. My question is: Is the Manchester tram network bigger than the Amsterdam tram network (amount of trams and stops)?
