Whenever I fly long haul I seem to develop some sort of infection. I understand there are preventative nasal sprays now available. Has anyone tried these? Can you recommend?

Do you mean the ones that are supposed to prevent colds?

I have a similar problem after long distance travels by train. I am sure that it is due to dry recycled air. I thought that I was going to die last time.

Yes wolf63 it's the recycled air that does it. And yes woofgang that is probably it. Wondered if anyone had experience of using it and whether it worked.
I have seen no clinical trials and it does not contain any active agents.

I am not impressed.

No harm in trying it out.
except it tastes/smells horrible. Ideally you take it at the first hint of a cold (and I'm told by family that it works) but I suppose you could take it earlier thant hat.
