Palma Airport - Palma Old Town

The airport bus seems to loop well away from where I need to be - the planner suggests changing to another bus line or facing a 20 minute or so walk.

Does anyone have recent experience of how much a cab from the airport to the Old Town would cost?

I've looked at a couple of online calculators which suggest between 25€ - 30€, but it all looks very vague and full of 'extras' for airport/luggage/breathing etc etc.

Anyone know a pre-book taxi service that is cheaper?

Cheers

What's wrong with getting on 2 buses or walking for 20 minutes - we do it all the time in Spain, travelling independently and we're both 65!
I don't go to Palma.........but mrs sqad does.

She pays €25 from the airport to the "Old Town" and that includes a small wheely bag.

Now if you have a lot of luggage, then clearly you will have to pay more.

diddlydo - I'm happy to walk any distance - and will do so during my stay.

But dragging a wheely case around a new city, after dark, whilst carrying a shoulder bag of very expensive camera kit, just doesn't seem like my idea of the perfect start to a holiday.

Thanks sqad - that's very useful.

Yes it will be around the 25 euro mark but a bit cheaper going back usually as taxis have to pay a surcharge for picking up at airport. Or you could get the airport bus and get off at the bus station, then get a taxi to the old town from there. The taxi rank is across the road from the bus station.
