Angela Merkel is passing through customs on the way into Greece (shut up, we'll pretend it's pre-EU).

As she's filling in her form, the customs official asks "Occupation?"

"No, just vacation for the weekend."

I've tried saying "occupation" and "vacation" using as many accents as I can.
Still don't get it.
Take pity on a sunfried Aussie and explain please.

I now have a wonderful vision of this little Aussie sitting in a deck chair with a tinny saying....occupation....vacation....occupation....vacation.....occupation.... right up until they come to take him away......☺
