Elstree/borehamwood To Wembley??

anyone know easiest route to get from premier inn to wembley? we will gave 2 kids with us so for easyness will a cab be better?? is edgeware the nearest station?

bus 107 to elstree station (bus stop is 5mn walk from the hotel)
train to hendon.
bus 83 to wembley stadium.
journey about 1hr15mn.

a taxi will cost you about £30 each way, making no allowance for traffic

is there no tube to wembley? or would you suggest bus be best?

Assuming that the stadium or arena is your destination, then yes, Wembley Park is the tube station you want. It is on the Metropolitan and Jubilee line. No tube at Elstree/Borehamwood though!

hi..the first post said to get a bus from hedon(sp) to wembley? we are stsying at elstree but i might just get a cab there with 2 kids i dont fancy a road trip!! lol..

you could stay on the train at Hendon and go right into King's Cross/St Pancras, then switch to the Metropolitan Line and go back out to Wembley Park but it's the long way round to go into town and back out again.

what do you think would be easiest and how much are the trains roughly to work out wether best to just pay £30 in a cab?

Trains in may not be cheap depending on when you travel. If not wishing to drive, the whole family in a cab for one price, seems a good option to me.

if electing to go the "long way" round, don't go into London, but change at West Hampstead - the Thameslink station is easy walking distance from the Jubilee line station.

but 4 in a taxi represents good value. :-)
