It's the most romantic place ever. Frescoes on the walls, candlelight and usually a violinist or other musician. It's an intimate affair so I'd pop in to book the day before you want to go.
i agree i went to Prague last feb (it was cold and snowing but it made it more beautiful) and found that it was not expensive at all. they have a great transport system so its easy to get around. You here of people going for stag and hen do's but i never saw any of that, its a gorgeous city would definately recommend it
never been to budapest tho
My wife and I have just returned from a six day trip to Budapest, and found it a great place - good reasonable hotels, cheap food and drink, public transport the best we have ever come across - no litter, touts, beggars, drunks - and the British Hens/stags/Lager louts have yet to discover it!
A really interesting city, bags of history, architecture, etc. Go there now before it gets spoilt!
