Can anyone give me info on famous people from Weymouth, UK. I need to set up a quiz for a forthcoming trip there, and like to put in a few questions about the area ??? And i am struggling at the moment.

Many Thanks.

Google..... famous people Weymouth.... there are plenty there

King George  III spent a total of fourteen holidays in Weymouth between 1789 and 1805 because his doctors advised him that bathing in the sea there would help cure his "nervous disorder"

I know he's not from Weymouth, just thought it was a good bit of trivia

Thanks again "ineedahobby", will look at it. This is the 19th quiz i've down from various places around the the coast of the UK, and never before have i struggled to find some info like this time !!!!!!!

Try Google Famous People Weymouth Dorset and a few sites come up, particularly Knowhere Local Heroes. Cliff Richard's sister and one of Bananarama seems to be as good as it gets, although Bobby Davro is mentioned.
