Good Morning Early Birds

Well it's possible that 4.30am is a bit early for a GMEB thread although to be fair it's an hour later here.

Sat in the departure lounge at Marseille airport, having just finished a particularly unpleasant cup of tea. Ah well. Also of course it's a bit of a shame that I am about to leave Marseille for now but it's been a great experience. Spent yesterday evening finishing with a bit more tourist wtuff and then got into a chat with a couple of people over dinner that lasted until almost 11pm. And haven't yet got to sleep as I wanted to be sure I was at the airport in time.

So, back in Edinburgh in about three hours or so. How nice it will be to return to a place where 35 degree temperatures happen elsewhere. :-)

Morning xx youngest son's birthday today, so will get them up to do presents before work. He told me last night, "you probably don't get excited about birthdays any more, because you've had most of yours." So...hmmm.

it looks like a nice day here Yippeeeee ! have to start preparing for gas engineer coming Monday to fit new boiler..empty out linen cupboard and take down shelves...site for new condenser boiler...lord knows where I am going to put it all..hoping to get the shelves back up if possible..will be climbing over linen 'till then !
