Has anyone been to Benalmadena in the Costa Del Sol?  If so what is it like.  I am going for 2 weeks at the end of November.

Never been myself, but my friend goes 2-3 times a year, she loves it.heard theres plenty of bars etc, have a look on www.holidaysuncovered.co.uk youl get loads of info on there. have a good holiday!

yep, been there. really nice - just really a part of the whole malaga-marbella scene. The harbor is full with restaurants and some bars. you get the families strolling around 1am, eating ice cream like it was 2pm. I heard there is a gay area around there, too - but don't know firsthand. I went in late August, but it should still be warm in November?

I noticed in that area, there are more Spanish tourists than British ones - which is nice. So is not so "in your face". You can also rent a car during that time and travel to the other beaches and up to Marbella, as its not a very far drive off.

Not sure what the weather will be like in November. We went last February and the weather was mixed - some warm days but lots of rain. Nice down by the marina with lots of upmarket shops and restauraurants. Bars up on the main road tend to be British run so tend to serve Sunday roasts and burgers and have the soaps and football on tv. Would go back though.
