Holiday In October

hubby and i looking for a weeks break in october want some sun nice beach dont want to fly too far any suggestions ? dont say canaries as im going there in novemeber , oh and flights from birmingham preferably

We can do many things here but we can't change the way that the Earth revolves around the Sun! In October you'll need to head well south to find warm sunshine and that really means Africa or possibly the Middle East. (While the Canaries are politically and culturally European, they're most definitely African in terms of basic geography).

Seriously - if you're priority is UV rays, buy a block of sunbed treatments and save the airfare.
Have the sunbeds then enjoy yourselves wherever, it'll be a brilliant time.

Menorca is still fairly warm in October. I don't know if you can fly from Birmingham, but worth a look. Lovely beaches.

Trust me Olu Deniz in Turkey (PLEASE no troubles worries!) is lovely and warm in October.

I suggest Northern Cyprus if cost is to be considered, or Southern Cyprus if you can spend a little more.

Morocco's nice. Splendid grub and cabarets, and it's not"dry". Closer than Turkey, actually.
