Bed and breakfast accommodation needed near the Barbican centre for an adult and child. Does anyone know of any nice reasonable priced hotels guest houses for 6 nights next August.

Most of the cheaper ones are up near Kings Cross and Russell Square.
It depends on what you term reasonable. I have used the Ruskin Hotel, very close to the British Museum many times in the past, but not for a while. Also the President Hotel, just around the corner in Russell Square, very convenient for the Tube.

Well my daughter is going to summer drama group at the Barbican centre and we will stay the week so I would like to be close to Barbican. I'm getting London city hotel coming up reasonable .that is near Aldgate is that close? To Barbican . I don't know London.

Premier Inn and Travel Lodge are quite reasonable. Sometimes you get a deal on hotels in London. Worth having a look periodically on their websites.

Its worth asking the Barbican Centre. They should have some recommendations for the participants, especially if they are young people. Ask too if they have a "Digs List". Professional actors use these to find friendly, affordable, local accomodation when they are in short term productions.

Many universities let out their student halls over the summer at good rates. Most probably aren't available for booking yet but last year University College charged from £34 a night.
