Stonehenge (that sort of thing?)
Question Author
yes that kind of thing

lets say we are making a bucket list of the top 20 things / landmarks / bridges / natural things even (whit cliffs of dover for example) that we must see
Tintagel, the open air theatre in Cornwall.
If you like castles and ruins you could go to Glastonbury,Dunster or Totnes. I loveTotnes. The " castle" isn't much to see, but the town and surrounding are lovely. [please excuse mistakes in writing. Ipad playing up]
Warwick Castle is stunning.

Lake Windermere is also stunning.
if they aren't well known, they can't really be called landmarks. But there's lots to see and do. Here's one person's list

Personally, I'd put Durham Cathedral about 80 places higher.
^Snowdonia is anall.
er, and the Queen's Speech is oral

. . . but, to be fair, it's got a long way to go to match London's iconic Tower Bridge!

Yep, if you want bridges go to London. High bridge: Bristol Suspnsion. Lots of other things to do in both places too, of course.

Thanks for that, Chris, I vaguely remember the buildings in photos 4 and 5, and the Dunkirk area was just a short way from my school.
