Yes, I was here when you posted but I was trying to answer another thread at the time ;-)

Unfortunately the first train from Tarragona to Barcelona on a Saturday morning isn't until 0804, so that appears to be ruled out.

Here's the bus service linking Barcelona El Prat with Tarragona:

The journey time is 1h 5m, with departures on a Saturday morning at 0400 and 0700.
