We booked through Expedia to go to America. To get the cheapest flights we are having a stopover of a couple of hours do we have to collect our luggage or does the airlines move our luggage for us. It is the same airline for the whole flight BA.

Hope this makes sense - thanks

BA will transfer your bags but do make sure at checkin. The States have some strange rules.
ask for it to be sent through to destination when you check in..but double check as I ended up having to find luggage in New York after having it booked through to LA....customs....

Thank you very much for your help.
If the stoppover is in the US you will have to collect your bags and clear them through customs (even if they are tagged for the onward destination) as this has to be done on the first point of entry into the country.
