Probably best to ask your travel agent.

hi, cheers for the reply, but as far as the travel agents i have tried, they have said that i have to pay full price for my son.            i now deep down they are in it for the commision!!!!!

It might be easiest to try to put together your own package using the budget airlines and their associated hotel booking services. (OK, you might still have to pay full-price for your son's flight but if you can get your flights for 5 or 10 each way - not much of a problem with Ryanair - who cares?).

If you'd rather book a traditional package, take a look at these links:

Hoping this helps,

Chris
There are lots of companies who offer single parent holidays - google "single parent holidays" and see how their prices suit you. (If you're in the UK, click the 'Pages from the UK' box to cut down the search.)

thanks both chris and jno.i have follow both ideas and am in the process of wading through them.

cheers

Last year I booked a holiday through Direct Holidays and noticed they had some single parent offers. None were for hotels, all were for studio apartments. I think First Choice do something similar.

I usually go abroad on my own with my 2 kids as Mr Brik hates holidays. I always end up having to pay adult rates for myself and my 10 year old and then get child rate for my 5 year old.

Good luck with your search.

Try www.myholidaymaker.co.uk and book it all independant and save money to spend on yourself and your son
