Hi all, looking to buy our Japan Rail Passes for our trip in July, just wondered if anyone knew of the cheapest website, any discount codes or do i just stick to buying it off JR Pass.com for the £285.00? Thanks

You've not said how long you want the pass for (or, indeed, whether you've investigated using a combination of regional passes, which might work out cheaper than a national one anyway). Take a look here:

Thanks, its for 14 days, we are travelling from nagoya to osaka then to hiroshima, then back to Nagoya then to to Tokyo then back to Nagoya. We have a friend who lives there and he says this is cheaper than the individual tickets

No idea on travel passes (six years since I went) but I'm jealous of you AliFlump, you have to go on the Shinkanzen, 200 mph and there isn't a ripple on the top of your coffee.
PS The drivers are more than happy to pose with you for photos at the front of the train.
