Whilst on holiday I damaged my foot on a concealed step at our hotel, it's badly bruised and painful . I asked several hotel staff if they had an accident book to report it but was told they don't. Wil be calling the GP as pain hadn't subsided.
Do I need to do anything re travel insurance now I'm back home?
I didn't seek medical advice there as was leaving the following day and felt it would calm down.
The step was like a small raised plinth next to the bed which was carpeted the same colour as the floor so nigh on impossible to see.
Thanks

Insurance covers you for specified financial losses, greedyfly. You have not suffered any. As OG says, it may be worth informing the travel company so that (a) the hazard might be removed and (b) there is a proper reporting process for accidents (neither of which they will probably do). But that's another matter.

You might be, I'm not sure, confusing your situation with the case where you hurt yourself at work. At the time, the injury seems insignificant; however, you should always report it to the employer in case it worsens and you find yourself having to apply for Workers' Compensation, or whatever you call it in the UK.
