Madrid Weekend Breaks
5 Answers
Hi Travel ABers ....
We're thinking about doing a long weekend break to Madrid. Will three nights be long enough? We would also like to take a trip out to Toledo during out stay. And what is the best time of year to visit? Cheers, Chox.

you ask if 3 night will be enough? thats depends what you want to see + do. if time is limited, you could always use the sightseeing bus.
toledo is pretty close, its 45 mins from metro station plaza eliptica(line 11+6) or 1/2 hr by train. again only go there in autumn or spring.

thanks again folks, we've just booked to go at the end of March next year. 4 nights, 3.5 days there, so should be enough for a taster. We definitely want to go to Toledo for the day, any recommendations for the best places to visit in the city .... apart from the Prado, flamenco and tapas bars? And any restaurant recommendations? Thanks. Chox.
