Any time Thursday should be fine. Of course there's no legislating for e.g. a train breaking down in the tunnel and causing delays which seem to have an inordinate knock-on effect - I speak from bitter experience last week!
You should be ok as long as you're flying your "I SUPPORTED BREXIT" flag from each window. Take your CD of "Rule Britannia and other favourites" to play at full volume as you go through.

Good luck with that then.
You haven't said whether you will be using the ferry or the train, so I assume ferry since you specify Calais to Dover, not Calais to Folkestone. Most of the trouble from the immigrants seems to be at night, so I would avoid travelling anytime in the dark. We crossed Calais-Dover a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday early afternoon without any problems.
BHG, the title suggests train......
Eccles - you're right. I completely missed that. If it's the train I don't think there'll be as much of a problem as the ferry.

yes Train it is. I have booked late afternoon. I hope its alright then.
Please let us know how you get on. We're planning a day-trip via the Chunnel in the near future.

Straight through no sniff of a migrant anywhere. Seams like they really cleared them all away! I would even go at night after seeing it this time.
