Been a great day here in N/Kent, blue sky, brilliant sunshine and not too windy, still a bit too cool though.

Took the dogs out for 2+ hours this morning, went down the Country Park at Reculver. Parked at the top car park, had a slow walk down to the Reculver end, a coffee in the Ethelbert followed by a slow walk back up the hill again to the car.
They've both been sound out since we got home.

What's it like where you are?

Quietish. The general rule of the day seems to be getting hold of the wrong end of the stick and 'debating' ones misunderstanding regardless.

Blue skies here too. Zac took me round the fields earlier but he's still a bit restless. He's currently looking after his slightly infirm paw whilst lying on the sofa next to me.

//and 'debating' ones misunderstanding regardless//

Spot on, I generally leave 'em to it nowadays, too tedious imo.

At least the two we have now are a reasonable size to share a Sofa with, the two (Dobies) we lost were 48 & 54 kilos. they usually had the biggest cushions.
Chatterbank is Not what it was. I think it has reached a stage where folk are sometimes afraid to comment for fear that a Moderator will be far from moderate and somewhat over PC (politically correct) and Remove their comments or even Suspend them.

Hans.

Hi Hans, are you well? these things do happen I believe.
Throw those old chestnuts away Hans - they've gone off.

Blue sky here now, started grey, very cold though.
@Baldric....I am feeling reasonably well. The kitchen needs a re-painting but, knowing your experience on ladders, I am inclined to continue delaying the task. Do you think the paint will keep a bit longer? I bought it two years ago to paint before Christmas in 2014.

Hi Mamyalynne....I can trust you to keep a secret. Consequently, I will confess to you that my chestnuts went off many moons ago.

Hans.
I'll get my trolley but I may be too late ;-)
Talking of quiet, I notice sandyRoe has not posted for 7 weeks. Hope he's OK and not suffering the effects of his pilgrimage.
Hans, I could not have put that any better myself.

Have your ^^^ chestnuts gone off as well then?

;o)
Afraid so.
After his Pilgrimage Sandy posted he had gone to stay with friends somewhere overseas, can't recall the location.
Hope there aren't as many bad chestnuts as there have been grapes or this could be a long shift.
Get your book, G&T Out Mam.
That explains it. Probably has no internet access or has better things to do with his time.
I think people are just recovering from xmas.er there are people who drink too much. not sure who these people are but i couldnt have got through it without answerbank and a bit of alcohol
If you don't know I'm not reminding you.
Didn't Sandy imply he'd met an American lady....?
