the other day
"Senior Citizen And Retirement Age"
that I would not be renewing my first Bus Pass when it expires mid March.
It appears I don't need to as a new one dropped through the door this morning.
Both old and new have now gone through the shredder, as I just can't be doing with it,
bus travel that is ;o)

I haven't got mine yet but will do the same as you. I can't remember the last time I went on a bus.
Question Author

I remember mine well, not a pleasant experience.
How are we supposed to respond to this?

Question Author

Any way you like Tilly, if it's too difficult for you don't worry about it.
I'm entitled to a bus pass due to being partially sighted but I haven't applied as I find travelling on a bus alone too testing.
I don't even know how you catch one these days, can you still pay with money? I didn't think you could in London.
I'll pass then, Baldric.

My little brain can't compute the reasoning behind the post.
Question Author

Fare enough!
Tilly, when in doubt over any post anywhere, it usually pays to compliment the OP on his/her sagacity. You might even get a Best Answer awarded.
Thanks, Jno. I'll remember that. :-)
Question Author

Not a bad Judge(ment) there jno ;o)

Question Author

Good thinking, every Bus removed must make room for at least 3.1 cars
Question Author

Thank you Bill, regards Ben.
Crikey ... forgot who I am again.

Question Author

A simple typo, ;o)
>>> Removing all buses from the roads would make a big difference in getting all the necessary traffic (like me) moving adequately

I can't think that it would make much difference if you lived in a coastal village here in Suffolk, DB. They only get one bus (in each direction) PER MONTH!
Question Author

Chris, that's at least 6.2 cars extra, each way per month.
