Does anyone know this long distance trail in the West of Scotland? At this time of year would it be necessary to pre-book accommodation?

It's probably a good idea to book in advance

Plenty of options here

Mazie, I think there's a 'kingdom of Leith'. Is there another one on the west coast?
Its very popular and I would suggest that it would be prudent to prebook as much as possible.
sandy - usually 'Kingdom' refers to Fife.
Lots of Kingdoms in the west ...
If you stand on te point on the Mull of Galloway you can see 7 kingsoms. 1 of them is heaven, but still 6 to spot.
Kindoms!
3rd time lucky - kingdom.
Look before you post Goofy!
Definitely book accommodation in advance, especially if you plan on doing the walk in high season! Accommodation is booked up very quickly between May - September, especially in June, July and August.
