Anyone From Dublin/ireland?

My maternal grandparents were from Dublin and at times they would use a saying if anywhere was really untidy or in a mess. They would say "this place looks like back Joseph Street". If you're from Dublin, have you heard this expression before? If so, where is back Joseph Street?

Just asked my Dub husband, he's never heard of the saying.

My Dad was a dub, he's say the place looks like the back of beyond, never Joseph st which is St Joseph st in front of the Mater Hospital ,never heard that saying though

probably was Clarion, my Dad and gran had every saying I thought there could be, but, some areas have different idioms, Dub is a big spot
