Maybe not clear from my update above.
That is a list of forums on Trip Advisor.
Just register for the TA web site, then select the "Mexico City" forum (and maybe read some of the other questions and answers)
Then if you still have questions ask your question on the Mexico City forum.
These TA forums are manned by Mexico City experts, unlike this forum where very few people (if any) have been to Mexico City.

Chapultepac Castle, the silver market in the Zona Rosa, National Museum of Anthroplogy, the zoo, the hop on hop off bus - get this to the Plaza de la Constitucion which is the main square and a photographer's dream. We just went into and wandered about many of the buildings. There are also a lot of tours you can do from Mexico City and they are not expensive. Taxco, Peubla (see Popocatatetl on the way there if it's not too hazy. The main one that is a 'must' is the trip to the pyramids. You used to be able to climb to the top of them but last time I was there, you could only go up so far. On this trip, you can do a bit of pulcha and tequila testing. I love Mexico and love the people (not hugely mad on the food but there is always some fusion food around). Zona Rosa is quite a handy area to stay.
taking a boat on Xochimilco is nice.

Anthropology museum is a must if you're at all interested in Olmecs, Mixtecs, Aztecs and so forth. Plus Teotihuacan for the pyramids as 237SJ says.
