Seeking A Nice Holiday Home For My Dogs

Does anyone know of nice responsible dog carers in a detached house with a good-sized garden in Surrey, Sussex or Kent who could have my two dogs (and no others at the same time) while I'm away from time to time? I don't want to go through an agency as they charge too much and I don't trust some of them

Look on facebook at dog pages and ask for recommendations.
Although you may struggle to get someone that will only take your two dogs as they will miss out on money

Odd that you don't trust an agency that will have insurance, experienced and police checks, yet you would trust someone who just takes in dogs not knowing of their experience? So many dogs go missing when left with people I would far rather mine were secure in a kennel with professional people to look after them.

Dee - I do think your dogs would love other company (of dogs) if you get them in a house.

I now have one dog minder should I think about going away. He will have Maxie and maybe 3 others. I am delighted at that cos I know Maxie loves other dogs.
