The highly vocal mayor of London, who seems to have something to say about everything, has criticised Jeremy Corbyn on his failure to deal adequately with charges of anti-Semitism within Labour ranks.

Does anyone else suspect, as I do, that Mr Khan is lining himself up to be Labour’s next leader. Oh Jeremy Corbyn. Watch your back!

Sorry, missed off the question mark.

//Does anyone else suspect, as I do, that Mr Khan is lining himself up to be Labour’s next leader?//

That's the question.
Or is he just a self-publicist?
I'd be surprised if he wasn't.
Question Author
danny, he's certainly that.

Why wouldn't he though?

It's a very logical step so the thought must at east be in the back of his mind.
Question Author
YMB, or. even likelier. at the front of his mind.
Not sure that Momentum would be in favour of him becoming their leader.
Question Author
danny, maybe not but whilst they're controlling Labour at the moment, I'm not sure that their brand of politics is really what Labour supporters want, and in that case there's all to play for.
True JC's Jackboots definitely wont like it.
He's a "jihadist" if he doesn't speak out, a self-publicist if he does.
You have to laugh.
Sadiq Khan would be a wonderful leader of the Labour party: as mayor of London he has the freedom to be more outspoken on this and other issues, and so he should.
Unfortunately I fear that the demise of the abysmal Corbyn is the far side of a cataclysm of some sort or other.

I don't fear it but I fully expect it. I can see Khan leading yet another Labour revival .... a kind of Tony Blair mark II.... and I think he'd get the support too.

I suspect that organisation will be Corbyn's downfall.
" he seems to have something to say about everything " ? Maybe that's because he is the Mayor of London ? Lol.
I'm sure you have some logic for that post, Anne?
.....and this matter just keeps on giving:-

I've been told several times that this is all a right wing generated conspiracy. in which case why don't the individuals concerned stand and fight, instead of apologising and/or falling on their swords?
