Camping Sites

have just become the proud owner of a 1993 camper van and went off on a shake down trip,but very confused as to the different camping agencies,ie 'caravan and camping' and another with a similar name that one may join to benefit from a multitude of advantages,now what is the best one for us? 2 old gits no dogs or kids in tow and a tad skint aka 'tight',would love to hear from other campers with their advice,many thanks in advance.
