Having just returned from a week in N.I. we passed a small village on the Northern Irish coast that had only 6 houses and it was located right on the sea and I cannot remember the name of it .Can anyone help?-------please

Do you remember which part of the coast? Or which county? eg Antrim, Down, Derry?
I'll throw some Co Down possibilities out - Rossglass, Kilclief, Minerstown, Ballyhornan.

Northern Ireland has got over 300 miles of coastline, so it would definitely help us to know roughly whereabouts you were!

Ok apologies -poor info from me-its on the "coast road/A2 " between larne and the Carick a rede rope bridge if that helps.

vulcan42 and ichkeria you are both correct it was/is Portbraddon.also for the other questioner the church ( St Gobbins ) has recently been demolished as it apparently has never been consecrated.Massive thanx to all concerned.
