A Year In The New Forest

Hi, I enjoyed watching a year in the new forest on channel 4 but at the end of episode 1 I was sad to read one of the cast had died, I caught the first name Jo was he the one with the pigs? thanks

I've not seen the programme but a bit of googling shows that Jo Hordle's death from cancer was reported on Facebook about a fortnight ago:

Give that the spelling used is 'Jo', rather than 'Joe', it would appear to refer to a woman, rather than to a man. That would seem to be confirmed by a Twitter feed in that name that's not been used since 2013 but which made references to the New Forest and shows her to have been a student of the Royal Agricultural University. The photo used on that Twitter page features two young women, with Jo Hordle presumably being one of them:
