Istanbul Turkey - Looks Like A Great Place To Live
just browsing and doing a little dreaming too...i have just returned from sofia and sunny beach / bourgas and i liked them all , nightlife, drinks, food etc was all good , price of airbnb and guesthouses & car rental were very affordable. scenery was great as was the beaches.
i have also been looking into going to istanbul for a month , it states on numereo website that istanbul is 43% less expensive than bourgas to eat out !!! see here -
( https:/ /www.nu mbeo.co m/cost- of-livi ng/comp are_cit ies.jsp ?countr y1=Bulg aria&am p;count ry2=Tur key& ;city1= Burgas& amp;cit y2=Ista nbul&am p;track ing=get Dispatc hCompar ison ) though on tripadvisor forum other people say it is expensive ????
so, lets hear it from anyone who has been there and lived it...like to hear cost of monthly rentals, things to do , car hire, gyms, nightlife, food, etc etc etc
thanks for any info

From what I understand (from friend's husband who is a pilot for Turkish) that it is more built up now than I remember. I keep meaning to go to visit but never get around to it. I'm not sure I would want to go for a month though.
