It's A Housework Weekend

Although I am generally keep my flat pretty clean and tidy I like to give it a blitz spring and autumn. This includes changing curtains, and washing down paintwork while the light is still good enough to see dirty marks. I also pack away any clothes that are totally out of season and hang up the ones coming back in. Goodbye cotton dresses hello favourite fluffy jumpers. I also swap the duvets for the higher tog and get out the fluffy throws.
I sound like a dormouse getting ready to hibernate but I think it's nice to mark the passage of the seasons

I do the same the weekend of the clock change..

I like to do it before the equinoxes but then I tend to follow a seasonal calendar. I want to try rearranging the lounge too as I feel the space could work better

Shouldn't think you have too much to either rearrange,or polish, one floor should be plenty

It needs to be one for me but I have horrible back pain and am hobbling round on 2 sticks. Oh well perhaps I could turn it into a housework supervision day
