Hi,

Does anyone know if you have to pay in advance for Airbnb?

I might have a job near Westonbirt arboretum and would need to stay fo a few days but we often get laid off so don’t want to have to pay if I have to cancel.

Thanks

What happens if you need to cancel?

I presume you lose your money if you have to cancel - never had to do it fortunately.
Many allow late cancellation with no penalty.
Clearly stated on the property details.
Airbnb has a few different cancellation policies and the host chooses which one to use. As jakep says, it should be stated on the property details.
The different policies the host can choose from are shown on the link below.
