I am needing a holiday with the kids so I am planning one with them at the start of August just before they go back to school but I cannot choose lol so can you help me choose:).

The choices I have at the minute are; Dublin, Majorca, Algarve; Canary Islands; Horse Racing in New Zealand and Disneyland Paris ;).

Feel free to suggest more ;).

For the kids, Disneyland Paris.

Would your common sense not have told you this!
Plonkers and pulled spring to mind.
I've been to Disneyland Paris a few times. It's not ideal for young kids. Queues are too long.
Particularly for IMPATIENT kids ^^^^^
Forget New Zealand. The flight's far too long for young kids.

Although Dublin's a lovely city, it's not massively child-friendly.

I suggest visiting Paris but not actually staying at Disneyland. (You can still visit it for a day, or perhaps two, though if you want to. It's easy to get to). Paris itself has plenty to do for kids, with the wonderful Jardin d'Acclimatation being it's star attraction. ( https://www.jardindacclimatation.fr/en ). Your kids would enjoy it just as much as Disneyland Paris, at a tiny fraction of the cost.

Alternatively, of course, the beach resorts all have their attractions.

Lol naomi
Zacs-Master smells a Salmon and I smell a Roland. :-)
“Porky pies” abound me thinks! Too
Somewhere all inclusive, with a 2 hour flight, all paid so no extra to be forked out, all meals, drinks, ice creams, entertainment etc etc is included. If they go to get something to eat and they don't like it, they can go try something else at no extra cost!
When my kids were young this is what we did, also went to Butlins many times, again all inclusive, there are lots of kids clubs, things to do, funfairs etc and plenty of redcoats to keep them entertained. Good luck.
If you have enough cash to splash out on taking yourself and three young children to watch the horse racing in New Zealand I suggest it is better spent on a more reliable car and then you alleviate the tail wagging the dog and drive to more frequent holidays in the UK. Perhaps Centre Parks or Haven Holidays.
Algarve in August can be a nightmare. Everyone comes down from Lisbon and also those who have emigrated elsewhere in Europe, especially France. Prices are higher and the beaches can get very crowded with full car parks. Have taken the grand kids to centreparcs at Elvenden this week. Plenty to do, book in advance. They are out on their hired bikes tell 8.30. You do not say how hold the children are. My 2 are 8 and 11 and as there are almost no cars they are off making friends and enjoying the freedom

Calmck they are 3,5 and 8 :).
RR and Sherr!!! :-)
Disneyland if you must or just take them to the seaside- kids don't need extravagant holidays.
At that age and if you want to bond with the kids and let them run wild before returning to school (seems an odd time) then I suggest camping in the UK. We couldn't afford anything else and both kids now say that they knew more British Geog.and Hist. than any of their mates. Airports, queus etc.....not good - lots of stress. Rain is good - you learn to cope on a real basis. Daughter is taking her 2 camping inCornwall, later a week in Italy. The camping will keep them grounded.
Jourdain, the OP is in Scotland - and many schools there start again around the 18th August.
I’m glad some others have spotted the absurdity of Jennifer’s post(s).

I haven’t accused you of making any errors.
You’re not unwelcome, Jennifer, and I can’t see you’ve made a mistake.
