. . . as a British citizen?

You'll need to score 75% (= 9 out of 12) on the sample questions here in order to do so:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-49485612
(Scroll down to 'Life in the UK test - a sample of questions')

If you find yourself thinking "These are bloody silly questions" though, that'll make two of us ;-)

(Oh, BTW, I passed with 10 out of 12)

I don't need to answer questions to prove that I'm a British citizen. I was born here, and I've lived here all my life. I'd like to see anybody challenge that!
Yes

10/12
I'm with you bookbinder
nine but what a total load of rubbish
10/12 but what a load of tosh.

Well, we've got two proven Brits so far (and two who aren't prepared to risk failure by the look of it!)

;-)
Useful as it may be to know about Indian festivals, I wonder if that doesn’t belong in an Indian citizenship quiz. For British purposes, they should require a 500-word essay on the Dunmow Flitch.
I might be Norwegian when the buggars came over to us in Newcastle and raped and pillaged us, lol

Passed with 10/12.

Make that 'three'!

. . . and, yes, as I wrote originally, they're bloody silly questions!

(We could have deep and serious discussions, in the style of AB's 'News' section, all night long about whom we offer British citizenship to but it seems daft to me to make the decision partly upon whether the applicants know about who wrote certain poems, etc)
I saw the thread as a bit of fun.

Oh well, at least we're all passing so far ;-)
Oops, I thought it was a fun quiz Chris :0/

Yes, that's why it's in Chatterbank, Mamya ;-)
Still think I'm Norwegian ( hehe)

It's meant to be for people on this site, Bobbisox (but it's obviously not for the people who have to pay a lot of money just to reach a point where they can be asked such ruddy daft questions!)
Having got the first two wrong, I rallied to 9/12.
I get ya Chris :0)
Done it 1012
I don't see why knowing the answers to a load of silly questions makes one British. I went out with my Californian cousin today - he got his British citizenship last year. He had a pint of Guiness in a Covent Garden pub and then went outside for a fag - that's the way to do it!
