We drove over a hundred miles to Boulogne to their sea life centre Nausicaa. What a find! I lost count of how many times we went up and down lifts. We saw every fishy thing known to man. From minnows to sharks. Walruses to penguins. It's advertised as the biggest and best in Europe and it certainly is. The staff were superb and all spoke English fluently.
We were there over four hours. I had to use my mobility scooter as I can't walk far nowadays. OH did very well but in the end he said he couldn't go much further. I reckon we missed about an hour but it was so big.
Got back to gite about 7.00 ish. Had ready meals I bought yesterday.
Had two visits from another cat. She is so affectionate, a grey tabby. She is still here now, loves cuddles and cheese!
Set off for home in the morning via Auchen and Pidou in Calais for wine topping up to see us through Brexit!
I'm sure that Caran can squeeze plenty of booze into their car, Balders. Leaving enough space for her hubby might be the tricky bit though!
