Twas a wild and windy night up here and I was woken by the police chopper overhead at 3AM. It was aloft for nigh on an hour and a half. Seems that a local 11 year old boy had gone missing and they were looking for him. Gladly they did find him so all was well. I have spent as long looking for a couple of winners this morning and have settled on one or two real long shot punts.(Two of which have been gambled on as I was looking) Done the ITV7 as per usual and have a couple of quid extra to play with after my bit of success yesterday. I have done the 6,5, and 4timers e/w from those 7 but left out the odds on Thyme Hill from my punt although it is in the ITV7 list. Cover can be taken if needs be. I can even do another 4 horse punt if the first 2 bomb out.

Still shaking my head here Ken after that. It was a massive gamble this morning and was about 40s early doors. I picked it before the gamble started and thought I was on a good thing. Then the next one at Lingfield was winning easy until the shadow of the post. Haha who would do it and call it enjoyment? Would have been an unbelievable 187/1 double. The stuff that dreams are made of.

Swings and roundabouts, Togo. Nice little double for me for a total return on main bet of £127.10 (don't forget the 10p) giving me a profit of £102...……………..and 10p:-)

Had a couple of £2 wins on earlier winners Maqboola @ 6/1 and Pinch Of Ginger @ 5s. Did back 3 losers with same stake but a good day so far. Still got the Trixie/Treble to come.

Just watched a very frustrating Burnley performance against United. Not at the races in the first half in which we gifted them a goal a minute before the whistle. Had a bit more purpose about us in the 2nd half and, right at the death, were pushing for an equaliser when the move broke down and Utd tied it up with a 2nd with virtually the last kick of the match:-(. Not a very good Xmas period for The Clarets.
So, to take my mind off my disappointment, I had a quick study of tomorrow's menu and have come up with these 4;

Just the one winner but a small profit of £12.20 from the £5 win single and the double odds win in the L15.

Hopeless again this end Ken. 1 winner out of 4 that all should have had very good chances. I see that there is an ITV7 again tomorrow. May have a look before we take the much needed trip outdoors and a look at an horizon. Going "stir crazy" this afternoon after being indoors since Friday.
