New Years Eve

Once again we are away for this holiday. We have come back to the hotel in Taunton we came to two years ago. They have a package of two nights with dinner and breakfast. There is a champagne hoolie tonight.
There are six of us as usual. Going on a steam train to Minehead after breakfast. Probably have some lunch at Witherspoons.
Weather seems quite reasonable.

Thank you all. Happy New Year everyone.
We had a lovely day yesterday.
Big taxi to station that took us all and my scooter. Then a train trip to Minehead. Amazing some of the stations on route were decorated with snow scenes.
Had a good walk round Minehead but it was freezing the socks off you!
Had a drink in wotherspoons and later bought sandwiches to eat on the train.
At night there was the festive dinner. Food is fantastic and bubbly at midnight.
Only down thing it's so noisy, the music vibrates in your body! But we survived. Going for breakfast now and then the journey home.
