Are you coming over Blake?

My Daughter often goes, not sure if she plans to this year.

I am not able to come due to school and money, but I'm sure your daughter will have a blast there! I've personally never heard of it till a month ago.
You should be able to see parts televised then at least.
Its a sore point! Tickets sold out in seconds and we have very disappointed ticketless family members again this year.

It would be way too busy for me now, but I did go back in my youth when you just turned up with your tent and a back pack. Either paid on the gate, or walked in over the fields!
Not my idea of fun anymore, getting bogged down in mud, TV a far better option these days.
I've been a few times. I just couldn't be bothered with trying to get tickets anymore..

It's a weeks holiday.
Too much like hard work for someone of Daltrey's years.
Tony....I went the year there was no rain. I came home looking like I'd spent 2 weeks in the med.

Plus, that weekend my sister will be gone for her 2 year marriage anniversary. I'll be bag my niece, who will be 6 months old
I’ve applied to help out with various organisations. Free entry. Help out a few days. Get the rest of the week free to enjoy the acts.
I used to go every year, with a friend. Always good fun.
never been, nor had the desire to do so.
its a lot easier to watch it on tv, plus if the weather is bad it matters not a jot if one is at home
It's the atmosphere. You don't get that from the TV.

Must admit though...I bloody hate tents.
i object to the rubbish they leave behind. Their carbon footprint must be high.
It's awful. People do try though. They just can't empty the bins fast enough.

They have to go over everything with a fine tooth comb. 1 cigarette butt could kill a cow.

They employ lots of locals.
the clean up bill must be horrendous.
It is emmie. I can honestly say we never left any rubbish at all.
Yes but if take into account the cost of the pitches. Some of them are as much as 5k a day.
