But theres something suspicious about this pandemic. To many unanswered questions.
It supposedly started in Chinese livestock markets, and yet the Chinese have had these markets for years, so why now?
Why so quiet about Russia. Or Japan even?
Why the global lockdown (in some places but coming to others)
Talk of bringing the military in (martial law?)
Some places no longer accepting cash?
When was the last time you couldnt get a bog role?
Weve been through wars, SARS, Swine flue etc but nothing on this scale.
Influenza kills more people.
The list goes on.

Call me a nutter in a few months (or now if it floats ur boat) but to my mind this is something else at the moment.
I find it all a bit disconcerting!

Lack of toilet rolls is simple. Media.

The media, while reporting what has been happening around the world, has been telling and showing people in lockdown. When towns, cities and even whole countries are in lock down people take notice.

They might not actually believe it will happen (not in my back yard) but reality is still being played directly into their lives 24/7 by all aspects of the media.

Although it started in a livestock market it has been opinioned that it traveled there from the research lab two miles away. Maybe it did and maybe it didn’t. I don’t think we will know for definately as the Chinese are particularly secretive and deflecting to the US (which is in itself telling).

China, after 105 days has started to open up again. People are going back to work and the temporary hospitals closing down. So our initial timescale should at least be that.

I believe it is a man and or man improved virus that either got out or was let out but it got out of hand.

I also believe we will have thre or four, maybe five months of panic and then things will start to get back to normal.

Indeed every new strain has come from China.

As I have always maintained, psychologically, humanity needs answers to big questions, even if an answer is not actually the one they would like.

That leads automatically to ... ta dah … the conspiracy theory!

It will be bracketed alongside the deaths of Elvis, Kennedy and Princess Diana, the twin towers, the moon landings … the list goes on.

Someone somewhere, and it may actually be you nailit, will come up with an idea that is more interesting that the boring truth, and it will gain traction thanks to the internet, and people will build ane embellish it, and there will lots of "What about this for an idea …" batting around the planet, and then we will move on to the next one.

The simple fact is, from the individual to any government, no-one has a script for this, people are making it up as they go along, be that looking for ways to try and contain or at least control the peak of infection, or sitting around dreaming up dark notions of secret powers in charge and control.

It's what we do - it's what makes us human.

They infect animals and allow viruses to develop and mutate to new levels so that they can contain them and then test their 'super antibiotics' on them.
