Any theories as to why Northern Italy in particular, has/had the most cases of Covid 19. Now Spain. Particularly Madrid and Northern Spain.

It had to be somewhere outside Asia that was hit first. It could have been anywhere. Probably just took one or two infected travellers from Wuhan /China and it would spread to a few hundred within days via the aeroplane then contact over in Italy/Spain. Italy also has a much older population than most countries

Churches....Lots of busy crowded churches...shared communion cups. Also lots of social hugging and kissing smaller personal space requirements...
