Watched first two episodes of this tonight and I have to say it's looking like quite a decent series. Plenty of he old claret flowing though, so if you are of a nervous disposition, I suggest you don't watch.
Actually, there are quite a few 'faces' in GOL. Might be best if you Google the cast beforehand then you don't spend ages trying to remember what it is you've seen him/her in :-)
Peaky Blinders was a good series set just after the first World War. I have it on box set and am yet to watch it all. So annoying as there is a more modern approach in the offing about Birmingham on TV.
My sincerest apologies to all those Amazon subscribers who have searched in vain for this series. As bednobs rightly says, it is on Sky. Sky Atlantic, to be exact. I have accessed it through my Firestick which has had certain things downloaded to it by a techy friend of the family.
I started watching this last night and apart from the violence and gory bits, it's brilliant. Great casting as well and I recognise a few faces from GoT.
Just finished binge-watching this over the last 2 days and it left me wanting more. Very confusing in some part and I think I may need to watch it again as I always pick up more data on character arcs from a second watch.
There has to be a second series but probably no filming for a while given lockdown and social distancing etc :o((
