With the airline industry losing shed loads of jobs , little Miss Bazile has received an email from Virgin , advising her that she will be retained as cabin crew , subject to appeals

Sorry for those whose emails will contain bad news on the job front

that's a relief. jno jnr is confident of keeping his job, but he's been confident of things before. Mrs jno jnr has come out of furlough and is back at work (at home), but she's quite important in her office. But I know others are less lucky, and I expect worse news will work its way through once furlough pay vanishes.

I am pleased to hear that little Miss Bazile is keeping her job, cap'n. It's an uncertain for many and a desperate time for some. I tend to keep my head down when this sort of thing is discussed, as I realise how incredibly fortunate I am, relatively speaking.
