Covid 19, I Am Confused.

I live in Scotland, can I travel 130 miles to a friends home and stay overnight, I am a single person and live alone

In Phase 2 regulations are still in place:

requiring people to stay at home, except for limited purposes

The exceptions are

You can leave the house for certain purposes, for example:

shopping for supplies for your household or a vulnerable person

to use outdoor spaces for other recreational purposes - for example to sit or relax alone or with members of up to two other households at a time
to ensure basic animal welfare needs are met, including taking dogs out
for any medical need, including to donate blood, to avoid or escape risk of injury or harm, or to provide care or to help someone who may be at risk
travelling for work purposes, but only where you cannot work from home
to access recycling or waste disposal services - for example, local authority household waste recycling centres
to attend a place of worship for one of the permitted uses (to attend a funeral service, to broadcast an act of worship, to carry out voluntary services or for individual prayer or contemplation, alone or with members of your household)
to carry out voluntary services where you cannot do so from home
to move home, including to undertake activities in connection with the purchase, sale, letting or rental of a residential property,
to visit a second home.

No but you can travel south to an airport from the 10th,take a fortnights holiday abroad, travel back to same airport then bus it back over the border to Scotland , all very silly , we are still the UK and should be working as one on matters!

From yesterday you can travel more than 5 miles but still can’t go into another house

jno.- Thanks for answering my queery, the link that you provided was very helpful and as I read it right to the bottom I found that I can have an overnight stay by forming an extended household. (with the agreement of the other household ofcourse)
