I`m not even considering the US until they stop treating decent folk as criminals and demanding guests have their fingerprints taken. If they can't treat guests with respect I shall travel elsewhere, where they know how to behave.

Given that the policy of restricting entry to the USA is central to DT's hard-line policies, your question is effectively the same as asking "What are the chances of Donald Trump backing down any time soon?". As he's not exactly known for backing down easily, my answer to that would have to be "Virtually zero!"

My own guess is that largely unrestricted international movements won't resume until at least Easter of next year.
